El camino es alegre,
y el sendero es tortuoso.
Algunos son pobres.
Algunos son ricos.
Bailamos de alegría
y algunos lloran de ira...

Veien er lystig,
og veien er vrang.
Noen er fattige.
noen er rike,
Vi danser med glede
og noen gråter av vrede...

La route est joyeuse,
et le chemin est sinueux.
Certains sont pauvres.
Certains sont riches.
Nous dansons de joie,
et certains pleurent de colère...
