Two men burnt
To black cinders;
Ten more persons mutilated -
Fragments of them
Over fifty yards of the street
Are being gathered into plastic bags:
A girl's leg blasted off -
And that, as it happened.
Two days before her wedding:
One child lost an eye;
A baby's arm was burnt raw.
Many houses shattered,
Several shops, and cars,
with people in.
Forward, forward still.
Well done.
