I lay on the edge of a green-coloured world.
Etched on the sky, stood pine-tree and fir.
Bees kept busying.
So it was, I suppose,
Since the world arose;
Bees busying,
Bumblebees buzzing.
And I felt the wish to rob the wild bees
Of honey
Which cost no money...
Just free.
I searched all day.
But these days, I must say,
You can`t find bees
Just wherever you please.
And yet - what forests what a sky,
And the air - just blissfully breathing lay I.
As for the bees.
Let them swarm as they please
And themselves use the honey they gather.
On the grass lay I
And looked up at the sky,
With no grudge - no, none whatever.
To wander barefoot over the earth ---
Is there a greater joy ?...
To all my friends;
Please enjoy yourself,
And have a nice time...
