Fancy a thousand wondrous forms
descries more wildly great than ever
pencil drew,
Rock, torrents, gulfs, and shapes of
giant size,
And glittering cliffs on cliffs, and fiery
ramparts rise.
In the deep wingdings of the grove,
No more the hag obscene,
And grisly phantom dwell;
Nor in the fall of mountain-stream,
Or roar of winds, is heard the
angry spirit's yell.
